Canadian Icewine Tea

To make icewine, the grapes are left on the wine until after the first frost. The grapes must be picked late in the year – after November 15; early in the day, before 10 am; and temperatures must not be higher than minus 8 degrees Celsius. At this temperature the grapes are forzen and are as hard as marbles. When the grapes are in their frozen state they are pressed. This leaves a highly concentrated juice, very high in acids, sugars and aromatics. This tea celebrates the flavour of icewine and is a lovely complement to any meal.

Available in Two Sizes: 12 Tea Bags (26 g.) and 24 Tea Bags (52 g.)
